Kathmandu (dpa) - Fourteen people were killed in Nepal early Thursday when a bus plunged down a hill, police said.
Seven others were injured when the bus skidded off the road and fell about 200 metres into a river in the western district of Palpa.
Police suspected the driver had fallen asleep on the steep road.
About 30 people were said to be aboard the bus.
Army and police were searching for survivors, with the help of local residents.
