Kathmandu - Nepal's newly elected Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on Thursday expanded his cabinet for the third time since he took office in late August, inducting six new ministers.
The ministers took their oath of office at the presidential palace in the presence of President Ram Baran Yadav. Two are from Bhattarai's Maoist party and four are from its coalition partner, the United Democratic Madhes Front.
The cabinet now totals 21 ministers. Bhattarai had added six new ministers in September 4.
The government is under immense pressure to complete drafting a constitution and peace process by end of November.
